For makers, craft businesses & small shops

Your craft deserves a home online.

You’ve put the work into what you make. Let’s give people a place to find it. Start with a simple website or a small online shop that fits your products and your budget.

You’ll work directly with me, Bill. Clear prices, plain English, and room to ask the questions you think you should already know the answers to.

Let’s talk about your business

Small business, understood

I’ve been on your side of the counter.

Through Nutsack Nuts, I’ve sold products at thousands of locations and worked with many small businesses along the way. I know the website is one item on a very full list. Every dollar matters, and you have customers and actual products to look after.

Tell me what you sell and how people buy it now. We’ll look at the options and choose a starting point you can manage.

Two ways to start.

Be found online

A simple business website.

Show your work, tell your story, and give customers a way to reach you. A good fit for a maker, market vendor, studio, or small shop that takes orders by phone or email.

Basics · $400 USD

  • Up to three pages
  • Design that works on phones and computers
  • Your photos prepared for the website
  • Phone and email links
  • Basic setup to help search engines understand your pages
  • One round of revisions and launch on your domain

You don’t need to arrive with finished wording, a logo, and a folder called Final Final Really Final. Bring a few photos of your products or work; phone pictures are fine. I can help with wording and a logo within the content and scope we agree before starting.

Ask about a simple website

Take orders online

A small online shop.

Let customers browse products, pay online, and choose the delivery or pickup options agreed for your shop. I can help set up a Shopify store around a manageable first selection of products.

Setup quoted for your shop

  • Product photos, descriptions, and prices
  • Options such as sizes or colors, where needed
  • Online checkout and payment setup
  • Shipping or local pickup arrangements
  • Help with product descriptions and a logo, as agreed
  • Basic social-account setup and links to your shop, as agreed
  • A walkthrough of the everyday tasks included in your scope

The number of products, the way you fulfill orders, and the accounts you need help with determine the scope. I can include the basic social profiles and connected essentials in the same plan. We agree on the setup price before work begins.

Know the costs

The build is one cost. Keeping it online is another.

For a business website, the $400 Basics price covers the agreed build. Your domain—the address people type to find you—and website hosting are separate ongoing costs. I explain those costs before you commit.

For an online shop, my setup quote is separate from Shopify’s store plan, your domain, payment-processing fees, and any paid extras you choose. I review the recurring costs with you as part of the plan.

For reference, Shopify Basic currently lists $39 USD per month with monthly billing, or $29 per month when billed yearly. This is Shopify’s fee, separate from my setup quote. Prices checked October 10, 2026; see Shopify’s current pricing (opens in a new tab)↗.

Additional work and ongoing help are agreed separately. We agree on scope, pricing, and scheduling before payment.

A straightforward first step

Tell me about what you make.

01

Share the basics.

Your business name, what you sell, and where customers buy from you now. Tell me your budget and any date you’re working toward.

02

Choose a useful first version.

We work out whether you need a website, an online shop, or a smaller first step. You get a clear scope, price, and schedule.

03

Build, review, and launch.

Bring a few phone photos and tell me about your business and products. I can help write the words and create a logo as part of the agreed scope. I prepare the site, review it with you, and launch when it’s ready.

A few things you might be wondering.

Can I start with a website and sell online later?

Yes. A simple website can be your first step. Adding checkout later is a separate project; we plan the move around your products and ordering needs.

What if I already sell at markets, on social media, or through another shop?

Your website can give customers a dependable place to see your work, find your next market, and contact you. We’ll discuss how it should connect to the places you already sell.

How will I keep it up to date?

For a simple website, you can request changes and we agree on the cost before doing them. For an online shop, we agree on the everyday tasks you’ll manage and the walkthrough included in your setup.

Whose name will the domain and store accounts be in?

Yours. Your business keeps ownership of its domain and store accounts. I help with the setup and agreed work.

Let’s find a starting point that fits.

Send a few lines about what you make, what you need, and your budget. I’ll review it and come back with options, pricing, and availability. A perfectly polished pitch is optional.
